While the sky was full of kites, our team was on the ground saving lives. On January 14th and 15th, 2026, Mahadev Pashu Pakshi Seva Shelter Home organized a massive rescue camp in Bhavnagar.
We treated dozens of pigeons and other birds trapped in lethal kite strings. From delicate surgeries to removing tangled manjha, our team worked around the clock to give these innocent creatures a second chance at flight.
